Dr. Rameez Asif has achieved his PhD degree in Photonics from Friedrich-Alexander-University of Erlangen-Nurenberg, Germany while working closely with Max Planck Institute for the Science of Light and Erlangen Graduate School in Advanced Optical technologies (SAOT) in 2012. During 2014-16, he successfully completed several European projects while working with High Speed Optical Communication Group at Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and Centre for Advanced Photonics and Electronics (CAPE) at University of Cambridge, UK while working as postdoctoral research fellow. He has authored/co-authored more than 85 peer-reviewed journals and conference papers including 2 journals with Nature publishing group (NPG). He also contributed a chapter to the book related to high speed next generation networks. He presented his work in world leading conferences like ECOC, OFC, QCrypt, CLEO, SPIE etc. His h-index is 10 (Researchgate, Google Scholar). He is also acting as the reviewer of numerous peer-reviewed journals like Scientific Reports, Optics Express, Optics Letters, Applied Optics, Photonics Research, Journal of Lightwave Technology etc.
