Ali Etemad received his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Department of Systems and Computer Engineering, Carleton University (Canada), in 2014. His Ph.D. research was in the fields of machine learning, pattern recognition, and computer vision, focused on human motion analysis for interactive multimedia and HCI applications. Ali is an active expert in the industry in the fields of machine intelligence, data science, intelligent systems, and HCI. He is also an Adjunct Professor with the School of Information Technology at Carleton University.
