Qualcomm

I am currently a R&D senior engineer at Qualcomm working on 5G wireless communication projects. I got my Ph.D. majoring in computer engineer at Northeastern University on Aug. 2017. I have been working on computer arithmetic operations on hardware, hardware security and countermeasures, and heterogeneous computing system (SW/HW Co-design). I have been actively review papers from conferences like FPGA(2012-2018), FCCM(2014-2016), HEART(2016-2018), Reconfig(2016-2017) and Journals such as IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems, etc. Here are some details of the my background. I have been working with Prof. Leeser on Reconfigurable computing architecture and system during my PhD in Reconfigurable and GPU Computing Lab in Northeastern University. The area includes computer arithmetic; hardware security and heterogeneous computing system using FPGAs. Specifically, for computer arithmetic, we build an open source variable precision floating point library for general FPGAs; for hardware security, I did the side channel analysis and countermeasure using hardware on FPGA and SoC on FPGA; for heterogeneous computing system, we build a system which use FPGA as an accelerator and compiler technology for the host to accelerate a secure function evaluation scheme (Garbled Circuits) in the datacenter. We analysis the bottleneck of this heterogeneous computing system and improve each of them such as PCIe communication, memory technology, overlay architecture, etc. Reviewing manuscripts for this conference is an honor to me and I hope that I can get a chance for that.>
