Md. Rajibul Islam is a full time PhD Student and Doctoral Fellow at the Faculty of Science, University Technology Malaysia. Before that, he worked as a Software Engineer at London English Academy (LEA), Research Assistant (RA) at Clarify Consulting Sdn Bhd. (Malaysia based Software Development Company) and Research Assistant on Distributed Parallel Computing platform at Ibnu Sina Institute for Fundamental Research, University Technology Malaysia (UTM). He received his M.Sc in IT (Image Processing: Biometrics) from Multimedia University, Malaysia (MMU) and Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) Degree from Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi, India in 2010 and 2004 respectively. His research interests include Image processing, Biometrics, Parallel Computing, Numerical Analysis, Nanotechnology and Computer Visions. He has published quite a few papers in various journals and conferences at national and international level from his research works and authored/co-authored three books as well.
