Dr. Aouache Mustapha is an accomplished researcher with a B.Sc. degree in 'Control and Automation' from the University M'hamed Bougara of Boumerdès (UMBB), Algeria. He holds M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in 'Electrical, Electronic, and Systems Engineering' from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). Currently, he serves as a research director at Algeria's CDTA research center, leading the Advanced Information Systems Research Group. Dr. Aouache's research interests span control systems, medical imaging, pattern recognition, data mining, deep learning, and IoT-connected healthcare/smart cities. He has a particular focus on image retrieval in medical applications, medical CAD-PACS applications, and medical and healthcare robotics. In his role as research director, Dr. Aouache drives the development of cutting-edge solutions in domains such as healthcare, manufacturing, security, and agriculture. He effectively manages researchers, cultivates partnerships, secures funding, and publishes scientific articles to disseminate research findings. Driven by his commitment to innovation, Dr. Aouache advances the field of computer-based intelligent engineering systems, inspiring progress not only within his own domain but also in related fields.
