Myronidis Dimitris since December 2010 he has been appointed as Lecturer in the field of Mountainous Water Management and Control at Department of Forestry and Natural Environment of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Greece where he is teaching Hydrology, Geomorphology and Mountainous Water Resources Management. Between 2005 -2010 he was a Scientific Associate of Laboratory of Mountainous Water Management and Control at Technological Educational Institute of Kavala Greece. He has graduated Bsc, M.Sc, Ph.D and Post-Doc at Department of Forestry and Natural Environment of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He has 44 research papers in total, either published in International journals or presented in International conferences 17 of them are indexed by Scopus. His mean impact factor is 1.24 while his h-index is 4. His main scientific activity is the interpretation and quantitative estimation of geomorphological and hydrological processes, as well as the development of different techniques for forecasting, measuring and monitoring erosion phenomena, land degradation, desertification, flood and drought risk.
