Dr. Sajal Bhatia is a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer and Information Science at the Fordham University. His primary research interest revolves around Network Security - both in wired and wireless domain, in particular areas such as Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attacks, critical infrastructure security, and intrusion detection. Prior to joining Fordham, Dr. Bhatia was a Postdoctoral Research Scholar at the Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN where he worked on security and resilience of cyber-physical systems. Sajal obtained his PhD from the Queensland University of Technology, Australia in 2013. He completed his Bachelor of Technology in Communication and Computer Engineering from the LNM Institute of Information Technology, India in 2008.
