Sergei Gorlatch is Full Professor of Computer Science at the University of Muenster (Germany) since 2003. Earlier he was Associate Professor at the Technical University of Berlin, Assistant Professor at the University of Passau, and Humboldt Research Fellow at the Technical University of Munich, all in Germany. Prof. Gorlatch has more than 200 peer-reviewed publications in renowned international books, journals and conferences. He was principal investigator in several international research and development projects in the field of software for parallel, distributed, Grid and Cloud systems and networking, funded by the European Commission and by German national bodies.

Dr Kohei Arai, a Scientist, Professor and Author. He is currently Professor at Saga University, Japan and Adjunct Prof. of Nishi-Kyushu University, Kurume Technology of Institute (Applied AI Laboratory), Prishtina International University. Dr Arai received PhD degree in Information Science from Nihon University in June 1982 and MS degree in Electronics Engineering from Nihon University in March 1974. His current research concerns are AI, Big Data Analytics, Satellite Remote Sensing, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Retrieval. Dr Arai holds 42 patents and received numerous awards, including the Patent Award of the Year. Dr Arai has been featured in Japan Times and Italian Newspapers for his work on Eyes only Computer System. He has worked on several global research collaboration projects during his career. He wrote 131 books and published 749 journal papers and 585 of conference papers.

Pascal Lorenz received a PhD degree from the University of Nancy, France. Between 1990 and 1995 he was a research engineer at WorldFIP Europe and at Alcatel-Alsthom. He is a professor at the University of Haute-Alsace and responsible of the Network and Telecommunication Research Group. His research interests include QoS, wireless networks and high-speed networks. He was the Program and Organizing Chair of the IEEE HTUICATM'98UTH, HTUICATM'99UTH, HTUECUMN'00UTH, HTUICN'01UTH, HTUECUMN'02UTH and HTUICT'03UTH, HTUICN’04UTH, HTUPWC'05UTH conferences and co-program chair of HTUICC’04UTH. Since 2000, he is a Technical Editor of the IEEE Communications Magazine Editorial Board. He is the vice-chair of the IEEE ComSoc Communications Software Technical Committee and secretary of the IEEE ComSoc Communications Systems Integration and Modelling Technical Committee. He is senior member of the IEEE, member of many international program committees and he has served as a guest editor for a number of journals including Telecommunications Systems, IEEE Communications Magazine and LNCS.
