John Aa. Sørensen is Associate Professor in “Mathematical Modelling and Data Analysis”. His research interests are: Machine learning, data visualization and analysis, signal processing with applications within e.g. wind turbine monitoring, production process quality monitoring, health technology, wireless surveillance and positioning systems, coding and noise reduction of speech. Co-supervised/supervised 18 PhD studies within applied signal processing and machine learning. He has, among others, contributed to a selection of IEEE conference technical program committees within the interest areas and is a member of SIAM and a senior member of IEEE Signal Processing Society.
