Marna Kagele is a Technical Fellow in Systems Engineering and Strategic Foresight. She began her professional life as a mechanical engineer on the Space Shuttle Program and has since blended her engineering and business acumen into a unique career. She is broadly recognized for her application of leading edge thinking and creation of systems-thinking based tools and methods, which have earned two meritorious invention awards. She brings enthusiasm and structure to projects, and often serves as a facilitator, speaker, and teacher as well as an aerospace advisor to Discovery’s The Science Channel. Recent work includes developing a system for measuring innovation and serving as principal investigator for quantum computing applications research. She is one of Boeing’s first Technology Ambassadors, the Technical Liaison for Great Minds in STEM, and an avid mentor.
