Syed Abdul Rahman Al-Haddad Syed Mohamed, PhD, SMIEEE Associate Professor, Faculty of Engineering Universiti Putra Malaysia He is a PhD graduate in Electrical, Electronic and Systems Engineering from National University Malaysia. His specialized in Human Speech Processing, Animal Sound Processing, Al-Quran Sound Processing, Sound Media Security and Biometric. Dr. Syed has served as a lecturer in Department of Computer and Communications Systems Engineering, Universiti Putra Malaysia since 11 May 2000 before promoted to a Senior Lecturer in 2006 and Associate Professor in year 2012. He had been teaching students in both undergraduate and graduate in Malaysia and International. He managed to get grants from European Union for research attachment, university research grant, ministry of higher education grant and ministry of agriculture grant. Further than that, he has few patents and copyrights. Apart of lecturing and supervising students over 19 years, he actively join professional society such as Malaysia IEEE System, Man and Cybernetics as Deputy Chair and Malaysia National Islamic Calligraphy as Chairman for IT. He had written numerous journals which were mainly published in IEEE. In fact, he actively participate as keynote speaker in seminars and conferences conducted at national and international level.
