My name is Ahmad Ghafarian and I live in the state of Georgia, USA. Education wise, I have a B.S. in mathematics and a Ph.D. in computer science. I also have a Security Certificate from CERIAS at Purdue University in Indiana, a Firewall Security Certificate from CISCO, and a Postdoctoral fellowship in Information Assurance (IA) from University of Maryland University College (UMUC.) I have been teaching computer science courses for the last 28 years and information security courses for the last seven years. I have developed several undergraduate security courses and have published several security related articles. I am a tenured professor of computer science at the University of North Georgia, USA. I teach computer science and cybersecurity courses. My primary research interests include computer forensics, network forensics, memory forensics; security of VoIP (Voice over IP), and cloud computing forensics.
