Dr. Claudia B. Rebola is Associate Dean for Research at the College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning, and Associate Professor in Industrial Design at the University of Cincinnati (UC). Dr. Rebola was also Director of the Master of Design at the Myron E. Ullman Jr. School of Design, University of Cincinnati, as well as Associate Professor in the Industrial Design Department at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), and Assistant Professor and Director of Graduate Programs in the School of Industrial Design, co-founder and organizer of the Design and Technologies for Healthy Aging (DATHA), and head of the D-Matters Studio Lab at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Her work brings together design, science, and technology to experiment, design and prototype innovative interactive products in the realm of health. Her specific interests are in areas related to design for aging, universal design, social innovation, social connectedness, tangible embedded interactions, and robotics.
