Marius Iulian Mihailescu is an accomplished Romanian academic and cybersecurity expert. Currently an Associate Professor at Spiru Haret University, he teaches and researches extensively in fields such as cryptography, software engineering, and information security. Marius holds a Ph.D. in applied cryptography, focusing particularly on biometrics security, and has authored several influential books, including Pro Cryptography and Cryptanalysis (Apress) and Advances to Homomorphic and Searchable Encryption (Springer). Beyond academia, he serves as CEO of Dapyx Solution Ltd., providing cybersecurity solutions and innovative security-oriented software tools. Mihailescu actively contributes to international research communities, often speaking at conferences and collaborating globally to advance the state of cryptographic and secure computing technologies.
