Mihaela Andrei was born in Tecuci, Romania, in 1983. She received the B.Sc degree in Telecommunications engineering from „Dunarea de Jos”, University of Galati, Romania in 2008, the M.Sc degree in Digital Radio Communications from Technical University of Iasi, Romania, in 2009 and the Ph.D degree in Electronics and Telecommunications in 2015 from Technical University „Gheorghe Asachi” of Iasi, Romania. In 2009 she joined the Electronics and Telecommuincations Department of the „Dunarea de Jos” University of Galati, Faculty of Automation, Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, as junior assistant. Currently she is lecturer. Her research interests include signal processing and coding theory with emphasis on turbo and Alamouti coding and wireless systems.
