Nicole Pascucci is a Construction Engineer, Architect, and PhD in Civil Engineering with specialization in Geomatics from the University of L’Aquila, Italy. She was a Visiting Scholar at Purdue University, USA, in the Digital Photogrammetry Research Group led by Prof. Ayman Habib, and participated in the Marie Sklodowska-Curie H2020 eUMaP project at GeoSystem Hellas in Athens. Her research focuses on LiDAR and UAV photogrammetry for infrastructure monitoring, crack detection, and risk assessment, including City Information Modeling (CIM), Building Information Modeling (BIM), remote sensing, and geospatial methods for resilient and sustainable cities. She was awarded the AUTEC Prize in 2025 for the best doctoral dissertation in topography and cartography, and the Ilaria Rambaldi Prize in 2023 for innovative methodologies in urban planning and city design in earthquake-prone areas.
