Professor Sergii Kavun, D.Sc., Ph.D., holds dual doctoral qualifications, having obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science (2000) from the Department of Automatic Control Systems, Computation Systems and Networks, followed by a Doctor of Science (Habilitation) degree in Economics (2014). His academic appointments include Associate Professor (2005) specializing in Information Systems, and subsequently Full Professor (2016) specializing in the Information Technology. He completed two Master of Science degrees: Mathematics and Computer Science (1995, Magna Cum Laude) and Financial and Economic Security Management (2016, Summa Cum Laude). He holds professional certification as an accredited specialist in Information Security Management according to ISO 27002:2005. His scholarly contributions comprise over 400 publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals and international conference proceedings, primarily focused on information and economic security research. Professor Kavun holds five patents in his fields of expertise. In recognition of his academic leadership, he serves on the editorial boards of twelve international journals, including several appointments as Editor-in-Chief. Additionally, he has been selected to serve on program committees for multiple international conferences.
