Dr Sarwar Sayeed is a Bangladeshi Computer Scientist. He received the bachelor’s degree in computing from the University of East London, UK., the master’s degree in IT from Cardiff Metropolitan University, UK., the MBA degree from Anglia Ruskin University, UK., and the PhD degree from the University of the West of Scotland, UK. His research interest includes control-flow integrity, consensus protocol, blockchain security, etc. His current research primarily focuses on mitigating some crucial blockchain attacks. He has published several papers in peer-reviewed international journals and conference proceedings. He is also serving as a technical program committee member and reviewer in many worldwide conferences. Dr Sarwar has received many awards and bursaries, e.g., SICSA, for his academic and research contribution. He has given talks at various top international conferences, such as IFIP-SEC, Lisbon, also chaired conferences/workshop sessions, e.g., UBICOMM/IARIA, Athens.
