Since graduating with a degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the National University of Science and Technology Politehnica Bucuresti in 2008, I have pursued a career focused on research and education in the fields of e-health, digital health, software engineering, and artificial intelligence. I obtained my PhD in Computer Science in 2011 and received my habilitation in 2023, allowing me to guide PhD students. Currently, I hold the position of Full Professor at my alma mater, where I have been teaching and managing laboratories for over 15 years. My research interests lie at the intersection of technology and healthcare. I have been the lead or contributing member on numerous national and international projects, focusing on areas such as dental screening using 3D modeling, semantic search engines, and intelligent home monitoring systems for elderly care. In addition to my research and academic contributions, I am passionate about fostering innovation and collaboration within the engineering community.
