Dr. Maxim Solovchuk is an Associate Professor at National Taiwan University, Engineering College and Principal Investigator at National Health Research Institute, Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Nanomedicine. His current research interests include Machine learning, treatment planning for thermal ablation of liver tumor, focused ultrasound ablation of tumors in different organs, High Performance Computing for different Biomedical applications, including ion channel modeling, precision medicine and mathematical modeling of traditional chinese medicine. In the last five years published more than 20 papers in the leading international journals with high ranking (Ultrasonics Sonochemistry, Computer Methods in Applied Mechanics and Engineering, Journal of Computational Physics). Currently serves as a reviewer and editorial board member of several international journals.
