Associate Professor at the Faculty of Transport of the Silesian University of Technology (SUT). PhD thesis merited an Honors Pass, Institute of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Wroclaw University of Technology; discipline: construction; specialization: traffic engineering, post-graduate studies in Organization Management. Habilitated Doctor of technical sciences in the field of transport. Author and co-author of more than 200 scientific papers and chapters of books. Scientific editor of a few monographs. His professionals experience includes more then twenty contract works in the field of transportation. He was among other project manager in SUT in two ERANET projects. His scientific interests combine the problems of the road traffic engineering (including intelligent solutions, traffic analysis and prognosis, transport systems modeling and optimization of the transport networks) with the development of the travel behaviors within the cities.
