Domain of Research: computer vision:statistical optimization for geometric computation, multiview geometry; erorrs-in-variables models and regression analysis
Ali Al-Sharadqah received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Mathematics from Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) in 2001 and 2004, respectively. In 2011, he received his Ph.D. in applied mathematics with a concentration in statistical computer vision from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). Professor Al-Sharadqah is currently an Assistant Professor of Statistics at California State University at Northridge (CSUN). Before joining CSUN, he worked at the University of Mississippi and East Carolina University. His research interests include regression analysis in Errors-in-Variables models (EIV), computational statistics, statistical optimization in geometric estimation and their applications in computer vision, and image and signal processing.
