Dr. Héctor Migallón is a Full Professor in the Department of Computer Engineering at Miguel Hernández University (Spain). He received M.Sc. degrees in Physics and Electronic Engineering from the University of Valencia, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science in 2005. He is a member of the Architecture and Computer Technology and High Performance Computing and Parallelism research groups. His research interests span areas such as parallel algorithms for solving linear and nonlinear systems, image and video processing, and heuristic optimization techniques. He has published over 40 papers in reputable journals indexed in the ISI Web of Science (JCR), among other scholarly contributions.
