Ma Lei-Ming is a professor on numerical prediction, modelling and machine learning. He has been granted with China Science and Technology Awards for at least 8 times, including China Excellent Young Staff Awards on Meteorological Science and Technology (2006 and 2010), CMA Awards on Meteorological Science and Technology, China National Innovative Achievement on Ocean Research, Shanghai Science and Technology Award, etc, because of his eminent achievements on development of numerical weather prediction technology.
