Fernando Luís Almeida has a PhD in Computer Science Engineering from Faculty of Engineering of University of Porto (FEUP). He also holds an MSc in Innovation and Entrepreneurship and an MSc in Informatics Engineering from FEUP. He has around 8 years of teaching experience at higher education levels in the field of computer science and management. He has also worked for 15 years in several positions as software engineer and project manager for large organizations and research centers like Critical Software, CICA/SEF, INESC TEC and ISR Porto. During that time, he had the chance to work in partnership with big international organizations and universities in several European projects. His current research areas include innovation policies, entrepreneurship, software development and decision support systems.
