Experienced professor with a demonstrated history of working in the research industry. Skilled in Entrepreneurship, Management, Software as a Service (SaaS), Start-ups, and Software Development. Strong education professional with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) focused in Computer Programming for Information Resources Management from Université Nancy 2, France. I have been teaching graduate and undergraduate Computer Science courses in Five countries, Four continents from West to East (California USA to Taiyuan, Shanxi, China). for more than 18 years with divergent culture and languages (Human and Computer). Looking forward to teach in Latino American countries. I previously worked at International Research Centres for Nine and half years before joining the academic community (www.cgiar.org, www.iita.org, www.ilri.org, www.icrisat.org). I have experiences in information systems development across platforms of DOS, Windows, Os/2 Warps, Unix flavors and Android. I developed systems for Agricultural crop management systems for the tropic and Weather Management report system. The vector based files were used. I was part of the team implementing the open-data, open-access initiative on CGSpace. I was also part of the team migrating the CGSpace from XML to JSON and Shapefile to GeoJSON conformity using the SAS-based, DBF-based and ArcView files. I am at home with PostgresSQL, MySql, Sqlalchemy and RDBMS on different environment. I obtained a PhD at the prestigious French Laboratory www.loria.fr in conjunction with Lorraine University (www.univ-lorraine.fr) where works on self-driving cars was in progress as early as 2002. LORIA a member of French CNRS is known with its own functional programming language CAML. I am at home with programming languages such as Python, PHP, JavaScript and tens of its frameworks, R-Language, MATLAB, OCTAVE, .NET and SCALA. I have used these languages applied to Machine Learning, Image Processing, GeoSpatial data management, Data Visualization, Database systems, Information management and Personal messaging systems. Recently I re-validated my knowledge with some 15 certifications.
