Giovanni Cicceri is currently a Researcher at the Department of Biomedicine, Neuroscience and Advanced Diagnostics (BiND), University of Palermo, Italy. He received Ph.D. degree in Cyber Physical Systems (CPS) at the Department of Engineering, University of Messina, Italy, in 2022. His research activity is focused on the study of Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques targeted for multi-risk and multi-objective analyses applied in different contexts with particular reference to embedded systems, Internet of Things, and intelligent systems applied to health and life sciences. Main research interests include continuous learning, probabilistic modelling, and clustering. He is a collaborator on several multidisciplinary and application-oriented research projects. To date, he is a member of the Medical Imaging Laboratory (MIL) of the University of Palermo, the Mobile and Distributed Systems Laboratory (MDSLab) of the University of Messina, the Young-InfoLife Laboratory of the National Interuniversity Consortium for Informatics (CINI) and the National Interuniversity Consortium for Informatics (CINI) for the COVID19/IT Task Force.
