Mohamed Hussein graduated from UTM with a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1987 and acquired Masters of Science in Advanced Manufacturing Systems and Technology from University of Liverpool, UK in 1992. He completed his PhD at the De Montfort University, UK (Leicester) in 2008 in the field of Mechatronics. He is currently an Associated Professor and Head of Applied Mechanics & Design Department, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, UTM. His research interests in Mechatronics include intelligent system, real-time virtual control and industrial automation.
