Domain of Research: NLP, Informtion extraction, Common sense reasoning
A researcher with a focus on natural language understanding, knowledge graph extraction/completion, and causality between events. I am skilled at investigating, implementing, and advancing various machine learning methods for real-world use cases. As an artificial intelligence researcher at Accenture Labs, San Francisco, I am leading the Labs' effort on causality expressed in text, knowledge graphs, and collaborating with the United Nations on the "Knowledge Graphs for Social Good" initiative. I am also involved in other projects related to anomaly detection and Poincare embeddings. Before Accenture Labs, I was an NLP research engineer at SparkCognition, Austin. At SparkCognition, I worked on extractive/abstractive question-answering systems and text summarization systems. I have hands-on experience in various domains of machine learning and also have scholarly work published in the ECIR and Information Retrieval Journal. I am a firm believer in the use of Artificial Intelligence for various real-world use cases and elevating human lives.
