Yungang Zhu is currently an Associate Professor with the College of Computer Science and Technology, Jilin University, China. He received his B.Sc, M.Sc and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from Jilin University, and was a Visiting Research Fellow or Post-Doctoral Fellow with the Vienna University of Technology, Austria, the Dresden University of Technology, Germany, and the University of Trento, Italy. In recent years, he has authored over 20 articles and 3 books, in which 10 articles are indexed in Science Citation Index, and 6 articles are published on CCF Rank B or JCR Q1-Q2 journals. His current research interests include uncertainty processing, probabilistic graphical models, information fusion, statistical machine learning, and data mining, with applications to knowledge engineering. His works have been funded by over 10 research projects such as National Science Foundation of China, Jilin Province Natural Science Foundation, etc. He has also awarded Natural Science Award of Jilin Province, National Commercial Science and Technology Award of China, and the Outstanding Postdoctoral award of Jilin University. Dr. Zhu serves as an Associate Editor of the IEEE Canadian Journal of Electrical and Computer Engineering(SCI, IF=1.09), he is also the reviewer of 8 SCI indexed journals. He is the Committee Member of Intelligent Service Technical Committee of CAAI (Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence), and Computer Applications Technical Committee of CCF (China Computer Federation). He served as the Program Committee Member for over 10 reputable international conferences.
