Domain of Research: Computer Networks, Cybersecurity and Privacy
Pedro Pinto received a B.S. degree (2002) in Electrical and Computers Engineering and an M.S. degree (2007) in Communication Networks and Services, from the University of Porto, Portugal. He received his PhD degree (2015) in Telecommunications jointly from the Universities of Minho, Aveiro, and Porto, Portugal. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor, the Director of the M.S. degree in Cybersecurity, and the Data Protection Officer at Instituto Politécnico de Viana do Castelo (IPVC), Portugal. He is also with the INESC TEC research institution. His research interests include the areas of computer networks, data privacy, and cybersecurity.
