Alok Shankar is an Engineering Leader with a background in Cloud computing, Healthcare IT, AI, information technology, and networking. He has a Master's degree from Carnegie Mellon University. Alok is currently an Engineering Manager at Oracle working on seamless exchange in Oracle Health AI organization. He is also an angel investor and is member of Angel Squad at Hustle Fund VC. Alok is also member of several advisory boards for companies like Livesight, Plumlogix, Vaultoniq, Spring Labs. Alok has 15+ years of experience in companies like Oracle, Microsoft, Cisco, Sumo Logic, Big Switch/Arista. Alok’s professional journey has been marked by significant contributions to research and patents in the field, including work on Cloud edge device virtualization, Uninterrupted network upgrades with controllers, access validation to edge device workloads, approach to searching untagged images on smartphones. Alok has led and helped build major cloud products from scratch. He led development of customer experience cloud services for Roving Edge Infrastructure. He was also the technical lead for Oracle cloud Migrations services and helped build it from ground up.
