Summary

The Computer Vision Conference (CVC) 2026 was a resounding success, bringing together researchers, scientists, and industry professionals from around the world to present and discuss the latest advances in computer vision, image analysis, pattern recognition, and artificial intelligence. The conference received 267 submissions from more than 40 countries, with 105 papers accepted through a rigorous peer-review process, representing an acceptance rate of 39.3%, and 91 final papers included in the conference proceedings. The conference was further enriched by keynote addresses from Professor Juan Wachs (Purdue University), Professor Alexandru Telea (Utrecht University), Professor Leo Dorst (University of Amsterdam), and Professor Marco Diani (iMAGE S), who shared insights into AI in medicine, data visualization, geometric computing, robotics, and the future of computer vision. High-quality technical sessions, poster presentations, and networking opportunities fostered knowledge exchange, collaboration, and meaningful connections between academia and industry.
