Summary
The Computing Conference 2026 was a remarkable success, bringing together researchers, academics, industry leaders, and innovators from over 50 countries to present pioneering research and foster international collaboration across computing and emerging technologies. The conference received 505 submissions, with 198 papers accepted through a rigorous peer-review process, representing an acceptance rate of 39.2%, and 187 final papers included in the conference proceedings. The conference was further enriched by keynote addresses from Professor Liz Bacon (Abertay University), Professor Vittorio Ferrari (Meta), Professor Alejandro F. Frangi (The University of Manchester), and Professor Bashar Nuseibeh (City St George's, University of London), who shared insights into AI-enabled education, foundation models and computer vision, digital twins for healthcare, and responsible software engineering. High-quality technical sessions, poster presentations, and networking opportunities encouraged knowledge exchange, interdisciplinary collaboration, and new research partnerships.
