Alvaro Rubio-Largo received the Degree in Engineering and the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the University of Extremadura, Extremadura, Spain, in 2009 and 2013, respectively. He is currently a Scientific Collaborator with the Department of Computer and Communications Technologies, University of Extremadura, Cáceres, Spain. Among his main successful publications, he has 15 articles in impact journals. His current research interests include Evolutionary Computation, Multiobjective Optimization, Parallel Computing, and their application for solving complex real-world problems in the domains of Bioinformatics and Telecommunications. In addition, he usually serves as a reviewer for several leading impact journals and conferences.
