Dr. Joshua C. Nwokeji is the Clapp Endowed Chair and Associate Professor of Computer Science at Indiana Wesleyan University, Indiana, USA, where he also leads the AI and Computational Lab. Before joining Indiana Wesleyan, he served as a tenured faculty member and Graduate Program Director at Gannon University in Pennsylvania. His research and teaching focus on Generative Artificial Intelligence, Large Language Models (LLMs), Human–Computer Interaction (HCI), and User Experience (UX). Dr. Nwokeji investigates how AI technologies can enhance ethical research practices, computing education, and human–AI collaboration. He is the founder of SlayResume.net, an AI-powered resume optimization tool designed to help college students improve job placement outcomes, and the developer of SubmitIRB.com, an IRB management system tailored for smaller universities. Through his work, he promotes human-centered and accessible AI solutions that advance transparency, trust, and innovation across education and research.
