Dr. Xu Zhou is a Research Fellow in the Sargent Centre for Process Systems Engineering at UCL, focusing on the development and implementation of decomposition methods for complex systems’ optimization under uncertainty. In September 2022, she received a PhD in Control Science and Engineering from the Beijing Institute of Technology, China. From October 2021 to September 2022, she held a visiting position at the Control Group, Department of Engineering Science, University of Oxford. Her research interests lie at the intersection of distributed optimization, robust optimization, optimal control, game theory, data-driven methodologies, and their applications to multi-energy systems and energy markets.
