Ali Shahidinejad received a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science (Computer Networks) at the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) Malaysia in 2015. He was at the RWTH Aachen University, Germany, for about two years, as a visiting scholar with a German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) scholarship. He joined the Department of Computing and IT, Global College of Engineering and Technology, Muscat, Oman, as an Assistant Professor. His research interests include cloud/fog/edge computing, network security (Authentication and Blockchain), and IoT. He has served as a review committee for many peer-reviewed journals and PC member of various international conferences.
