Jian-wei Liu, received the BSc, MSc and PhD degrees from Nanjing University of Science and Technology, Beijing University of Chemical Technology, Donghua University, China, in 1997, 2000 and 2006, respectively. He joined the Department of Automation, College of Information Science and Engineering, China University of Petroleum, Beijing as an associate professor in 2006. His main research interests include pattern recognition and intelligent system; machine learning; analysis, prediction, controlling of complicated nonlinear system and analysis of the algorithm and the designing. In these areas he has published over 200 papers in international journals or conference proceedings.
