Roy George is Professor and Chair of the Department of Cyber-Physical Systems at Clark Atlanta University, Atlanta, GA, USA. He received the Ph.D. from Tulane University, New Orleans, LA, in Computer Science and the B. Sc. Degree in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering from Kerala University, India. Dr. George’s areas of expertise include machine learning, cybersecurity and database management. He is the author of a book on Data Modeling and has published over sixty papers on advanced topics in journals that include the IEEE Transactions, Information Systems, Pattern Recognition Letters, etc. Dr. George has directed several academic Research Academic Centers of Excellence in Advanced Information Systems, Internet Technologies, High Performance Computing, and National Security Studies and his work has been funded by US Governmental Agencies that include the National Science Foundation, US Army, US Air Force, US Army Corps of Engineers, Department of Energy, etc. and private corporations including Northrop Grumman Corp., Intel, SAIC, Ford, and Boeing. He has been a consultant in the areas of data analytics, bersecurity, and advanced enterprise systems, and a technology advisor to several startup companies. Dr. George was recognized as an “Atlanta Top Technology Leader” by the Atlanta Business Chronicle in 2015
