Dr. Amal Alrayes is an Assistant Professor in Department of Information Systems at the University of Bahrain. She is Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy in UK. Amal is a coordinator for the New to Teaching in Bahrain Program (NTB) at the Unit for Excellence Teaching and Leadership at UoB. Amal received her master degree in Computer Science from University of Wolverhampton and completed her Ph.D in Interactive Systems from University of Manchester in UK. Her research interest is in HCI, Interactive Systems, Artificial Intelligence, and the use of Technology in education. She has a strong engagement with industry through developmental research and grant projects such as project of Bahrain Satisfaction Index for e-government Services.
