Dr. Fernando Koch is a Researcher, Technologist, and Master Inventor, with practice in Teaching, Research Management, Enterprise Architecture, and Software Development. He holds a Ph.D in Computer Sciences by Utrecht University and dedicated his research and professional life on advancing Artificial Intelligence and, in specific, Generative Intelligence, both on theoretical and practical level. His background mixes experiences in academia, industry, and research with engagements with IBM Research, Samsung Research, Melbourne University, Korea University, and others. His research interests revolve around the potential of Generative Intelligence, Synthetic Creativity, and Distributed Computing applied to business processes and social good. He co-edited 6 books, authored 100+ patent applications, and 80+ scientific papers. He is a ACM Senior Member and IEEE Senior Member.
