Yuan Gao (SM’11–GSM’14–M’16) received the B.S. degree in information engineering from PLA Information Engineering University in 2008, then he received the Master’s Degree in communication engineering from Tsinghua University in 2011 and Ph.D degree in communication engineering from in 2014. He is now an assistant researcher in Academy of Military Science of PLA, he is also Distinguished Associate Professor in UESTC and Distinguished Assistant Professor in Tsinghua University. His research interests are wireless communication system, satellite communication system, network control theory and big data. Professor Gao is a member of IEEE and ACM; he is an associate editor for several international journals, including IEEE Access, Eurasip JWCN and Sensors, etc. He is also a guest editor of several special issues. Professor Gao also serves as guest reviewer and TPC member of several journals and international conferences, including IEEE JSAC, IEEE Trans. on Wireless Communication, IEEE Trans. on Communication, IEEE System Journal, IEEE Communication Letter, ICC, WCNC, and so on, he has published more than 60 academic papers in peer-reviewed international journals and conferences. Prof Gao has published more than 60 SCI journal papers, including more than 20 IEEE/ACM Transactions papers, such as IEEE/ACM Transactions on Networking, IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering, IEEE Transactions on Dependable and Secure Computing, ACM Transactions on Sensor Networks, IEEE Transactions on Cloud Computing, IEEE Transactions on Network and Service Management, Theoretical Computer Science, IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing, IEEE Transactions on Parallel and Distributed Systems, IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, etc. Furthermore, He also published more than 50 conference papers, including papers published in INFOCOM, MOBIHOC, ICDCS, SECON, DASFAA, IPSN, etc.
